This will provide you with some information about your child's class. * All papers will come home in a folder on Monday. You will go over these papers, sign, and return on Tuesday. Spelling words will also be in the folder. A reading word list will be sent in folders. Please practice these words with your child and they will be tested for the week's words and sent home for the next list. *Your child will need to bring a snack every day. Please send snacks that are low in sugar and not messy. Food like crackers with cheese or peanut butter, pretzels, fruit, popcorn, or vanilla wafers are good examples. *I have these expectations for your child: 1. Listen well, 2. Follow directions, 3. Stay with a task until it is finished, 4. Work independently without disturbing others, 5. Work in a group without disturbing others.
*Other tips: Read with your child. Practice addition and subtraction facts. Study spelling words. |
