Check your child's weekly folder each week, sign and
return to school.
Ask your child to bring home AR books as much as possible. Help your child learn multiplication tables by asking them frequently. Read a short period of time each day with your child. (magazines, newspapers, comics ETC.) Encourage your child to complete any extra credit which is given to earn the best grade possible. Discuss all school rules and procedures with your child so that they are aware of the fact that you know all of the rules also. Please encourage your child to attend school regularly. It is vital that students are here as much as possible for the instruction, even if they do make up written work. Please encourage your child to be here on time for school. When students come in late they miss the morning board work I have on the board and may also miss valuable reading instruction if reading has started.
