Clinton City Schools Special Education Department
Mission Statement
Recognizing that the future is dependent upon today's students, the
mission of the Clinton City Schools is to provide a climate for learning
that will create motivated, literate, value-conscious individuals. The
staff, in partnership with all segments of the community, will strive to
develop responsible, productive citizens who possess the skills and
attitudes necessary for active participation in an ever-changing society.
Description of the Special Education Department
The Department of Special Education provides services to students with
disabilities within the Clinton City Schools. The department consists of a
special education supervisor, special education teachers (preschool and
school-age), a school psychologist, speech and language pathologists, an
occupational therapist, an orientation and mobility specialist, a physical
therapist, and a vision specialist.
