The Family Life Curriculum is one aspect of the Guidance program about which many parents and students have questions. This curriculum is required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and is actually taught in the regular classroom with support during guidance classes. A copy of this curriculum is available from the guidance counselor upon request. We have a special helper in guidance class for the fall semester of 2008. Miss Sarah Hendry, one of our first grade teachers, is getting her masters degree in elementary guidance. She is doing her internship this semester and will be observing and teaching in many of the guidance classes. She will also be working with some individual students and small groups of students. .
