Greetings

Hello!  Welcome to the Guidance Department at Clinton Elementary School.

At Clinton Elementary School, we serve over 500 students in Pre-school through grade six.  Weekly guidance classes are a part of the curriculum in grades pre-kindergarten through four. Fifth and sixth grade students are pulled for small group guidance.  Some subjects covered in guidance are personal safety, conflict resolution, social skills, and decision-making.  In addition to classroom guidance, other services are available upon request for all students such as small group guidance, individual counseling, teacher consultation, and parent consultation.

The goal of Clinton Elementary's guidance program is to assist each child in discovering and fulfilling his/her potential for a happy, healthy life.  Each aspect of the curriculum focuses on teaching children to treat themselves and others with respect, to be responsible for their own actions, and to make healthy, responsible choices for their lives.
