Parents please help your children remember to turn in their library books on time. Each book that is checked out during their regular library time is due back to the library the same day the following week. Students who are in Kindergarten, Grades 1 and 2 check out only one book per week. Grades 3 through 6 will check out two books at one time unless otherwise approved. Please remind your children to take care of their books. The library books don't belong to us. They are available for everyone to read and enjoy. When we borrow a book remember that someone else would like to borrow that book too. Don't eat while reading a book, don't turn down the pages-use something for a bookmark, don't leave books outside where animals or even rain might get them. We should treat our books like a very special friend. After all, a book can take us many places-places we may never get to go, they allow us to meet many people and/or characters, books can be real or imaginary - Fiction or Non-Fiction. Let's take care of them. Read to your child often!!!
