In enrichment class, we will be studying China, the Beijing Olympics, and ancient Olympics. We will continue using our new ReadWell materials this year in "Reading Across the Grades"; these will supplement the phonetic and sight vocabulary reading that we will practice. In math, we are using Touch Math, ST Math, Study Island, Ed Helper, and Drops in the Bucket activities; we also study, study, study, and review math facts. In written language, we will use several materials, including Mountain Language, Daily Oral language, Little Planet, and Write Out Loud. In Reading enrichment, we will be choosing books to read from several different genres, writing in a "response journal", and completing enrichment activities.
