I live in Oak Ridge with my two children, Erin and Kile.  Erin is continuing her PhD program in graduate school, at University of Wyoming in Laramie.  She is majoring in Environmental Biology and Statistics. Erin  spent part of her summer involved in environmental research in Grand Tetons National Park again this year.  She hopes to continue being involved in political and environmental activities this next year.  Kile is beginning his senior year at Fordham University in New York City; he is studying for a BFA degree in Dance and Choreography with Fordham and Alvin Ailey Dance Theater. He is also in the TAKE Dance company in New York City. Kile will spent the summer in New York City and upstate New York where he performed with the TAKE Dance company.  He  also joined students from Juilliard and SUNY Purchase in an outreach program to orphanages, schools, and senior centers in Mexico. I miss them while they are so far from Tennessee.

This is my fifteenth year as resource teacher at North Clinton Elementary. I teach several different kinds of classes.  This year I am teaching reading across the grades, phonetic reading, reading comprehension, written expression, math, and enrichment classes.

If you would like to contact me, you can reach me at hotchkissd@clintonschools.org.  I will check my e-mail weekly.
