Hi and welcome to my C.D.C. K-6
home page! C.D.C. stands for Comprehensive Developmental
Class. My classroom, which is located at North Clinton Elementary
usually has no more than 10 children. I have one instructional
assistant, Nancy Denton, who is with me part time. She is also our
school nurse.
Mrs. Denton is a Registered Nurse and has been with Clinton City Schools for 15 years. She is the mother of 4 sons, Marcus, Miles, Travis and Tyler. She is also the very proud grandmother of Sydny, Madison, Jaxson and Matthew. This is my 34th year at Clinton City. I have a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee in Deaf Education and a Generalist Certification in Special Education. My husband, George is a math teacher at Jefferson Middle School in Oak Ridge. Our son, Joseph is a civil engineer and works for the Bechtel Corporation. Joseph is married and he and his wife Jami recently moved to Lexington, KY where he is working for the Blue Grass Weapons Depot. I have lived in Anderson County for 56 years. George and I live right outside the city limits in a log home on 6 acres. We have a German Shepherd named Jake. My hobbies include reading, camping, traveling and boating. |
